Acquisition and donation of portable and static ultrasound, transport stretchers, capnograph, intraosseous puncture devices and video laryngoscope, to contribute to improving the quality of care provided and promote the change in the size of the UPA (Emergency Care Unit) aiming at the qualification and expansion of the structuring services of this unit and, consequently, increase the transfer of resources by the Ministry of Health, generating sustainable benefits for the entire population assisted.

The UPA provides regional services to 11 municipalities: Água Doce, Catanduvas, Erval Velho, Ibicaré, Lacerdópolis, Luzerna, Treze Tílias, Joaçaba, Vargem Bonita, Jaborá, and Herval d'Oeste. Its role is essential for the continuity of care and for reducing the burden on regional and local hospitals. The Unit operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, serving the entire population, approximately 150,000 (one hundred and fifty thousand) people.
