A CASA DO MINOR SANTA LÚCIA, registered with the CNPJ under n. 47.044.821/0001-93, non-profit institution, founded on 04.21.1976, located at Rua Goiás, 25, Vila Deieno, municipality of São Joaquim da Barra (SP). (website: stalucia.org.br) Creche - founded on 21.04.1976, maintained and managed by members of the “Loja Masônica Joia Fraternal Jorge de Lollo”; Currently, they serve 250 children from needy families in our municipality, aged between 6 months and 3 years and 6 months, full-time and completely free of charge; It has a team of 21 (twenty-one) duly registered employees. - lack of attention from students - due to the characteristic of financial need of families, students have nowhere to stay for additional periods - it is proven that full-time education, with artistic activities, improve school performance and student retention in school - will be improved the future of these students by improving the quality of teaching In 2015, construction began on the hall of the “Centro Cultural Carlos Alberto Nicolau”, with funds from donations, in order to contribute to the integral formation of children and adolescents, the contents are distributed in form of specific disciplines, which interrelate in a transdisciplinary way. The objective is to implement new extracurricular activities that will reflect in an improvement in the performance of needy students who attend the school, as well as an improvement in the school retention rate of these students.

The project aims to complement and improve the current educational structure with new musical instruments, thus adding four new courses, namely: 1 – Percussion Course – classes of 16 students 2 – Academic Orchestra – classes of 30 students; 3 - Symphonic Band – classes 30 students; 4 – Chamber Music - classes of 20 students;
