The objective of the project is to renew the structure of equipment and instruments in the surgical center, in order to guarantee greater safety and efficiency in the surgical procedures available to patients treated at the Hospital e Maternidade Marieta Konder Bornhausen. The Video Tower equipment comprises: Micro camera (Full HD) with Image Processor; Carbon dioxide gas insufflator; Light Source (Xenon); Monitor; Fiber optic lighting cable; Rack for accommodation and transport of equipment.

Hospital e Maternidade Marieta Konder Bornhausen (HMMKB): The HMMKB was inaugurated in 1956 and is administered by the Institute of Small Missionaries of Maria Imaculada since 1985, established in a contract with the Government of the State of Santa Catarina (SC), the HMMKB provides assistance to the 291,169 inhabitants of Itajaí, being the only one in the city to offer medium and high complexity care for adults. The HMMKB is also a reference for 13 municipalities in the region, home to around 850,000 inhabitants, which represents approximately 11% of SC's population.
