The receipt of interactive and digital whiteboards/screens for the classrooms and laboratories at the Santos Dumont Campus will be an important factor in improving methodologies, work, research and general activities carried out by staff and students. It will be an important tool that will provide opportunities for enriching and diversifying methodologies, using new technologies and resources that will facilitate teaching and learning processes, enabling practices to be carried out with resources that are currently not available at the institution. Some points here deserve to be highlighted: ∙ digital inclusion and use of new methodologies; ∙ the use of innovative and more attractive methodologies tends to encourage study and improve the institution's educational indicators, reducing dropout rates that generate a series of negative impacts and other social problems for young people; ∙ creation of public and open environments for the community with the necessary equipment to foster human development and formation; ∙ use of digital and virtual interaction for inclusion; ∙ carrying out diverse activities; ∙ dissemination of study habits and empowerment of the target audience; It is important to note that the unit's infrastructure can accommodate this equipment and the institution has professionals trained to use it. The evaluation and monitoring of the use of this equipment can be carried out through the implementation of teaching, research, extension and innovation projects, used and developed by the entire academic community of the Santos Dumont Campus. The use of digital whiteboards and their application at the Santos Dumont Campus will mainly benefit formal education and the implementation of projects for young people and adults from needy and poor families, creating conditions for autonomy and emancipation, strengthening dialogue, human transformations and, above all, social inclusion aimed at an educated population committed to economic, peaceful, sustainable, healthy, civic and inclusive development.

Among the students enrolled in the various courses offered by the Santos Dumont Campus, 67% of the students come from families with a family income of up to 1.5 minimum wages; more than 54% of the students identify as black or mixed race, and women represent more than 60% of the enrollments. In addition to access to free education, these students participate in extension, research and innovation projects, accessing comprehensive, integrated and diversified education, with cultural, sports, health-related activities and the construction of their life project.
