Improve the quality of patient care in Medical Emergencies in the critical hospital population, to implement minimal appropriate technology for the emergency service, reducing patient waiting time. facilitate diagnostic and therapeutic procedures in the service and have medical equipment that facilitates the approach of critical patients.

The population to be benefited is located in the northwest area of the city of La Paz, considered a risk area due to the high rate of violence in the streets. The population to be served includes fourteen health centers in the area and other centers and areas of the city of La Paz and El Alto. The majority of the population that attends has a medium-low socioeconomic level, in addition it has a significant contingent population dedicated to street commerce that practically lives on the street and is subject to a series of socio-medical eventualities (robberies, assaults, violence, accidents traffic, etc.) People who do not have the resources to maintain a basic standard of living. The number of beneficiaries reaches 12,898 patients, of which in traumatology and emergencies the number of beneficiaries reaches 6,000.
