In this area of the hospital, more than 1,800 patients are treated per year and more than 250 airway procedures are performed per year on patients with respiratory pathology. complex airway. Due to the growth in demand, as a result of the knowledge of the existence of said section, it is necessary to improve the quality and quantity of the necessary equipment to be able to provide adequate resolution to many pathologies of the airway and upper digestive tract by endoscopic means.
