The \"Menina na TI - Developer of Front End Web Systems\" project, conceived and carried out by the Rotary Club of Novo Hamburgo Inclusão, is an innovative program that seeks to meet the growing needs of the market for professionals in the area of information technology, at the same while promoting the inclusion of girls in science and technology. In addition, it aims to strengthen female empowerment, encourage female entrepreneurship and women's rights. In the current context, the demand for qualified professionals in the area of information technology has been increasingly expressive. However, there is a significant under-representation of women in this sector, reflecting a persistent gender disparity in such a strategic field for social and economic development. We understand that the project is fully aligned with the advocacy of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion that Rotary International has encouraged, as well as being in line with the Presidential Initiatives for 2023-24 regarding the Empowerment of Girls.Overall Objective:To promote the inclusion of, at least 70 girls, during the year 2024, from 15 to 19 years old, in the areas of science and technology, more specifically in the area of front-end web development and to strengthen female empowerment and entrepreneurship and women's rights, through a safe and welcoming environment for the participants.METHODOLOGY The training process will be developed in partnership with SENAC, which will be responsible for issuing the certificates. Selection criteria: girls between 15 and 19 years old, attending high school or completed, residing in Novo Hamburgo or in these cities: Picada Café, Linha Nova, Santa Maria do Herval, São José do Hortêncio, Morro Reuter, Lindolfo Collor, Dois Irmãos, Ivoti, Araricá, Estância Velha, Sapiranga, Campo Bom, with a per capita family income of up to 2 federal minimum wages and passing the logical reasoning assessment, in accordance with the enrollment notice. Emphasizing that trans people, who identify as girls, can enroll. DEVELOPMENT - TRAIL 01-CITIZENSHIP - 12h and TRAIL 02-FRONT END DEVELOPMENT-204h. LABOR MARKET: through a corporate platform, which brings together students and IT companies, or through direct hiring by partners. ENTREPRENEURSHIP: This project encourages business growth, based on individual knowledge so that it can be applied as MEI or small business .
