ASSOCIAÇÃO HOSPITALAR BENEFICENTE DE MARAU (HOSPITAL CRISTO REDENTOR) CNES No. 2246953 was founded on February 20, 1976, headquartered in Marau - RS, at Rua Bento Gonçalves, no. , constitutes a charitable and philanthropic, non-profit entity, uses its result in maintenance and conservation of the hospital building and investment in medical-hospital equipment, and its directors and advisors do not receive remuneration or advantages of any kind or title and fully applies its income, resources from any operational result, in the maintenance and development of institutional objectives in the national territory, making 60% of its installed capacity available to the SUS. The object of this demand is to provide the Maternity sector of this Health Center with equipment that will ensure an increase in the quality and assistance provided to mothers and children. The beneficiaries of this project will be all residents of Marau and the immediate micro-region, which covers Vila Maria, Nicolau Vergueiro, Gentil, Nova Alvorada, Camargo, Santo Antônio do Palma, Montauri, São Domingos do Sul, Vanini and Casca, totaling a population of more than 120,000 inhabitants, ensuring greater quality of care, ease for employees of this Nosocomio and practicality for medical professionals. During 2021, 5,158 people were hospitalized at the HCR, 33,075 patients passed through the Emergency Care sector, 752 children were born in the maternity and 3,549 surgical procedures were performed. Uninterruptedly, the institution continued to provide services in the most diverse areas, including diagnosis, urgency and emergency, nutrition, outpatient clinics and consultation center.
